Computer, the 1995 version Empty
PostSubject: Computer, the 1995 version   Computer, the 1995 version EmptyFri Apr 23, 2010 10:48 pm

My dad can be so technologically declined. He had a laptop with power cord and modem cable just sitting in his office and didn't even know it. Oh and whoever owned this computer in 1995: Admin isn't a good password for your administrator account. Just saying.

It has to be plugged in at all times. Probably because the battery is so old. When I move the mouse it leaves a little trail (not the kind you can set, the kind that comes from a bad refresh rate) so that's probably a no to movies.

I cannot get wifi on it at all, it needs a usb wifi connector, which I am not buying XD so that means this computer is good for...well help me out on this part =/ what is this good for??

And yes, there is no trackpad. There is a green, quarter inch pad that I've become quite adept at using though.

Oh and I don't really know if it was made in 1995, that's an estimate. If anyone wants to do some digging, it's a Toshiba 2105CDS Satellite.

It's good for being so old that it has a certain nerdy awesomeness. I'm sure one can program on it, but then again you can use any computer for that so meh -.-

Does it have a floppy drive?
